Discover the Pure Essence of Shade-Dried Tea

Nature’s Gentle Preservation

When it comes to herbal tea, how the leaves are dried is just as important as where they were grown. Most commercial tea companies use high-heat industrial ovens or harsh direct sunlight to dry their crops quickly. While this cuts production costs, it bakes away the delicate essential oils, ruins natural flavors, and destroys fragile antioxidants.

At Himraga, we choose a slower, far more meticulous path: Gentle Air and Shade Drying.

The Himraga Shade-Drying Process

Hand-Picked at Peak Vitality: Smallholder farmers in Uttarakhand harvest whole leaves and flowers early in the morning when oil levels are highest.

Clean Mountain Air Flow: Leaves are spread out in well-ventilated, shaded chambers protected from direct sunlight.

Meticulous Hand Sorting: Once dried to optimal moisture levels, herbs are sorted by hand so only complete, unbroken leaves are packaged for your cup.
